China EV Export Sourcing — Electric Vehicles from China

Updated: May 2026 | ChinaCarExport EV Division

Why Source EVs from China?

China produces over 60% of the world's electric vehicles. Chinese EVs offer cutting-edge technology, long range, and competitive pricing — typically 20-40% cheaper than comparable European or American EVs. BYD has overtaken Tesla as the world's largest EV manufacturer. Chinese EV brands are rapidly expanding globally, making now the ideal time to source EVs from China for export.

EV Export FAQ

Can used EVs be exported from China?

Yes, selected used EVs and new energy vehicles can be sourced from China for export, but the buyer must confirm destination import eligibility, battery documentation requirements, local registration rules and charging compatibility with a local agent.

Which Chinese EV models are suitable for overseas dealers?

Common starting points include BYD Song PLUS DM-i, BYD Yuan PLUS / Atto 3, BYD Han, Zeekr 001, Li Auto L7/L9, NIO ES6, AITO M7 and Geely Galaxy models. Final selection depends on destination policy, budget and local demand.

Do you provide battery health reports?

We can help collect available battery information, photos, videos and inspection support where possible. Battery warranty and diagnostic availability depends on the specific vehicle, brand and local service policy.

Is the EV price on the website the final landed cost?

No. Website prices are reference vehicle prices. Freight, insurance, destination customs duty, VAT, certification, charging compatibility checks, registration and local clearance must be confirmed separately.

EV sourcing risk notes

  • EV import eligibility, battery documents, local charging compatibility and registration rules must be confirmed in the destination country.
  • Final FOB or CIF quotation must be confirmed by PI. Website prices do not include destination duty, VAT, certification, registration or local clearance.
  • For used EVs, battery condition should be checked with available photos, videos, inspection records and brand-specific diagnostic information when available.
